I have aimed to make my magazine have an obvious sense of being patriotic.
The magazine focus'es on underground music with some of the best or unique mainstream music. Readers that are interested in unique, up and coming artists usually like to be part of their rise to fame, they want to be able to say they listened to them since the start.
My magazine gives them a way to discover new artist and give them A unique feel.
Allthough no one can truly be "individual" they can come quite near.

I would put advertisements in my magazine that would interest them. the majority of adverts that would be used would be made up of music, (from audio to equipment) clothing, games, films and any other things that my target audience would be interested in.

my magazine addresses my audience well because of its conventions also my magazine has allot of information on how to build yourself as a music artist rather then the more common style of music magazine. I feel that readers will appreciate reviews on equipment and the overall quality of the informative features. The daring ideas and layout of my magazine will interest the reader. I feel that readers will appreciate the difference in the look of my magazine.

I feel that this represents my target audience well
My target audience is 15-25 predominantly male mainly from the UK with influences from the US. They should also have a social status of B, C and in some occasion’s c1.
The demographics of my target audience is made mostly of aspires and individuals and maybe a small amount of mainstream influence.
Most of my target audience are young with a high or moderate income which is used mostly for entertainment and events/holidays.
I feel that a large percentage of my target audience would buy my magazine for inspiration and insight into less mainstream genres such as drum and bass/ DUB step although many will buy it for information on upcoming events and to widen their music collection.
If I was to advertise in my magazine, which is an almost certain possibility I would strike deals with companies such as music developers and music equipment distributors. Also advertising events and holidays would be inevitable. I feel my target audience would be interested in buying new equipment as many are aspires.

One of the applications I have used for my magazine is Adobe Photoshop cs4. The advantage to this is that it is professional and is the application used by many major magazine developers. It is also easy to pick up so a novice can create an effective cover given that the images used are of a good quality.

Photoshop’s many features helped me to create a variety of images related to my target audience. Its versatility meant that I could change the slightest bit of information I wanted, as specific as I wanted it .For example I could change the contrast of several different parts of an image rather than the whole thing. I could also take parts of an image I wanted.
I have also used web applications blogger and flicker as they are free and easy to use they are also very effective to display coursework in an organised and neat, professional way. The downside to using free web applications like this is that they could easily fail or contain errors erasing a lot of your work. This is not a problem though if you make sure you keep all file posted on the site.

I have also used internet sites such as Google to research into magazines and find information on things such as forms and conventions and to profile my target audience. Google images helped me with research and analyses, also helping me make my mood board.
The thing I have learned the most during the planning and production of my magazine is the ability to take good photos. I enjoyed learning about camera angles and the background / setting.
These are some images that I am particularly pleased with.
